Day Twenty- Seven: The ignorance of impatience

We all get pretty impatient at times. I would be lying if I said that I was the most patient person ever. Sometimes you just want something to happen, and you want it to happen right now! You're tired of waiting. Sometimes this causes us to do something we regret; to do something simply out of impulse because we are impatient and we just need something to be done. It can be trying on a person. We push God right out of the equation, too, some of the time. We think that He has left us and there is no coming back from this "mistake". But He did not leave. He is never going to leave. And the best part, He forgives you of this sin just like all of the rest of them. So repent and pray. Talk to God, He listens. Do not let one or even a few mistakes get you down. We are human, it is what we do. Our sinful nature causes us to go that way, and the devil pushes as much as he can. Remember that God forgives, and be comforted by the news that Christ died for our sins. How awesome of a God we have! And what a great way to start out the week, remembering that!

"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:8-9
